Co-created & curated by Danayi Madondo of Haus Of Stone, Lin Barrie & Kelli Barker Collaborators: Johnson Zuze, Neels Scott, Seb Lallemand-Steemans, The Faz Pixels, Muvheneki, Kuda Rice, Dark Art Matter(s), Fungai Muzoroza, MINEstitched A collaborative fashion performance art presentation, merging multi-disciplinary artistic practices from: fine art painting; fashion design, makeup;, music, and spoken word, unfolded before a live audience. At its heart, Lin Barrie, wielding her massive mutsvairo made from tree fonds a (traditional broom), to create abstract strokes onto designs developed by Danayi Madondo under her fashion brand, Haus Of Stone. This experimental presentation offered a raw invitation to witness the intuitive processes of making and developing prints, employing the traditional method of hand painting. |

This was the result of cross-cultural projects spanning the past three years. The program is focused on promoting alternative and innovative approaches to the global fashion system with the ambition of demonstrating that the fashion sector in Africa is a professional choice for young people and a valuable contributor to the creative economy. |

The Web3 Origin Story
___________________________ SPIN by Lablaco @ Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées 4 — 26 January 2023, Paris, France Material developed by Renewcell Design Development & Handcraft by Haus of Stone The three-part meta retail exhibition invites guests to learn about the sustainable applications of Web3 digitization and face the reality of fashion waste head-on. The curation features a range of wearable NFTs and physical items from couture to accessories, all available to purchase in a zero-waste environment incubated by CFS HUB.

An exhibit of partially finished experimental macrame garments that highlights the beauty of the intuitive process and the exploration of natural hand-dying techniques and handcraft arts as a form of sacred practice and creative therapy. The installation is open to all and is a safe space for people to explore their creativity and connect with others.

Mugadheni maUriel, a short fashion film by Danayi Madondo, premiered at the Circular Fashion Summit (CFS) as part of her presentation. Madondo is one of 10 BIPOC designers from across 4 continents selected to exhibit under the Impact Design Hub, a curated selection of 10 international innovators who are accelerating digitization and the circular economy of fashion. The Impact Design Hub showcases collections that respect the four Impact Design principles and innovations in materials, process, people, and planet.

The Therapy of Fashion: One Garment, Many Hands, a project by Haus of Stone and Tendai-Angela Rokkones, explored the therapeutic benefits of craftsmanship, creative expression, and emotional release through fashion. The project was part of Fashion Open Studio Zimbabwe's 2020 creatives presentation, spearheaded by Fashion Revolution Zimbabwe.
